Consult Planning was appointed by Collins Food Limited to manage the town planning applications for its expansion of Taco Bell stores in Queensland.
The Annerley store was its first to open in 2017 and we were proud to handle the Development Application for that store as well as subsequent stores in Robina and Cleveland. We assisted with due diligence and submission of development applications for each of these stores and our involvement in establishment of this brand is ongoing.
The Annerley and Cleveland projects involved the demolition of Sizzler Restaurants and the construction of Taco Bell stores. The restaurants includes indoor and outdoor seating, a drive through, and a signature bell tower.
We also provided assistance with Due Diligence and Development and Signage Approvals for the Southport store that also included access easements with the store opening in August 2019. The Development Application processes for Cleveland and Southport involved liaison with the State Assessment and Referral Agency (SARA) in relation to state-controlled road matters.
